Tired

These last two days have been tiring probably because of the compounding lack of sleep.

I was tired, hence working out with lower resistance and smaller repetition.

I stayed home instead of going to the Halloween party. a) It's too far away to drive, b) I finished work around 8, c) I don't want to miss yoga the next morning.

Again, I didn't feel like going last night, so I ended up doing just cardio again.

You know what the problem with a public gym is? The hygiene level, especially, the one that annoys affects your olfactory system. The one that can be alleviated by (1) a personal use of a certain substance to tone down bacterial break-down effect and maybe (2) by easing out the consumption of a certain allium species--I am not pointing out to a certain demographic, but you can guess.

Another In-House Gym

Somebody has been pestering me about not being able to go work out these past two, err, three weeks...So I gave in.

I worked out at the newly renovated gym in the apt complex this afternoon. Great facility I must say. Side note: I have been moving three times in the past four months. I have tried each gym facility on each complex, clearly, this one is the winner.

Outdoor


Enough with gym confinement, I ran outside yesterday afternoon. The route was along the Guadalupe river at the Ulistac Natural Area. It summed up to between a two or three mile run. It was almost dark and in the high 60s.

Non Working Out Update

I got my computer as well as car delivered today. Poor mover guy, 1800 mile and two week trip and I only have 10 bucks on me to give him as tip.

Billy, Dino said, and I quote, "the blog has the smell almost like phone sex." What do you think? LOL.

It's easier to update the blog from the comfort of my corporate housing now. I'll workout tomorrow after work. Hitting the sack now, I got a terrible headache.

Sundays Are Not Just Good for Napping

First and foremost, I admire the guy who posted before me for (unintentionally?) going green.

I didn't work out on Thursday (too tired from working), Friday (too many things to do: packing, lounging), and Saturday (again, too many things to do: moving to the corporate housing, apt leasing, grocery shopping).

Today I tried out the corporate housing's gym. It's better than the hotel's, i.e., more machines, bikes and ellipticals.

Leg extension 3 x 10 (60 lbs)
Leg curl 3 x 10 (60 lbs)
Lat 3 x 10 (40 lbs)

Friday I biked to Rec Center. But I forgot towel, so I didn't work out.

Hello World!

Ms. Dr. X decided to start exercising tonight, at her hotel gym, nonetheless. It's been a few months of working out hiatus. She blames that there is not enough time in any given day to deal with the latest happenings in her world: graduating, moving, starting a new (real) job, maintaining relationships (family, boyfriend, etc).

Tonight's flavor:
30 minutes treadmill (alternating walking and running)
3 x 10 10 lbs dumbells exercise
10 sit ups
